Full Moon Paddle at Eastern Neck Island

Chestertown – The Center for Environment & Society (CES) at Washington College and the Friends of Eastern Neck, Inc., are sponsoring a paddle at Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, August 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group will meet at Bogles Wharf, a public landing on Eastern Neck Island, to celebrate the harvest moon and learn more about the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your own kayak, life vest, and paddle. Or pre-register by July 30 to reserve Washington College equipment.
